Just received word through a Darren Dreger TSN report….. Blackhawks avoid potential disaster waiting for the NHLPA grievance process to take its toll, re-sign defenseman Cam Barker to a 3-year, $9.25M dollar contract. Our salary chart has been updated with all new contracts dealt out today. Well, at least the ones we know. You’ll notice Kris Versteeg is now the odd-man out notwithstanding future roster moves clearing cap space needed for the third-year winger.
