Chasing points stinks.   You’re fully aware of this because chasing wins from goalies in fantasy hockey or W’s from starting pitchers in fantasy baseball can be maddening. One of the follies fantasy hockey players might run into at this time of the year, at least for those of you in standard roto leagues (where there are games played limitations), is balancing chasing those points and trying to maintain your league’s games played pace. ‘Hawks shut down 3-0 in return to Beantown

The Chicago Blackhawks were shut out for the third time this season and the second time in a week. This blanking came in Boston at the hands of the Bruins, who took an early lead and put the game away with two goals in the span of 13 seconds in the final period. Patrice Bergeron had a pair of goals in a 3-0 Bruins victory.

First Period-The ‘Hawks got an early power play opportunity when Matt Bartkowski held Patrick Sharp just 1:38 into the game. Chicago managed a couple of long-distance slap shots but the Bruins killed the infraction. Read more »
